Municipal
Hudson & Pacific Designs has participated in the revitalization and beautification
projects of downtown and river access areas - enhancing the amenities that a town or
city can offer to its inhabitants and tourists.
Rondout/ Kingston, New York
Kingston 's Rondout is at the heart of the Mid-Hudson river revival. This streetscape
provides a beautiful means of access to the river during all seasons. The details in
planting and furnishing provide an elegant complement to the surrounding buildings.
Ulster County Courthouse /Kingston, New York
Hudson & Pacific recreated this specific gate and wrought iron fence from historic documents to provide an
appropriate esthetic and sense of arrival. The original fence was melted down for bullets during the civil war.

Lincoln Depot Plaza and Visitor Center/ Peekskill, New York
The Lincoln Freight Depot is a National Register-listed building to be developed into a
museum by the Lincoln Depot Foundation. It was the location for a number of historic
events, most notably a stop in 1861 by Abraham Lincoln on his inaugural train ride. The
site is located near the Hudson River, across the Metro North Railroad tracks from Peekskill's
Riverfront Green Park. Currently, the site is open space with a security fence enclosing
most of the site and the Depot.
The City's vision is to create a significant and inviting entrance to the future Lincoln Depot
Museum, provide a place for public gathering, and link the City's downtown and waterfront
areas. The design includes details to enliven the space, creating a vibrant and functional
urban plaza with outdoor displays and interpretive exhibits. The museum and plaza will
serve as a focal point between the downtown area and the waterfront, and also be a
destination on the Greenway/RiverWalk Trail, a pathway that is planned to link each of the
Hudson River communities along the waterfront.
